ABOUT ROOOT

a match program that comes alive · version alpha

WHAT THIS IS

ROOOT is a free, live fan experience for the tournament. You take a side, predict the score, and watch the match weave itself — the market's read beside the crowd's roar. At full time you keep what you lived: the woven cloth of that night, yours.

FAN DATA, COMPUTED LIVE

Every number here is computed as the match runs: the live odds feed, the taps of the people in the ground, and the match's own record. The odds are the market's de-vigged read, shown plainly beside the crowd's.

Nothing here is a wager. The odds are a reading, and reading is free — there is no stake and nothing to trade.

YOURS, FOREVER

When you collect a scarf it's kept on your device instantly. If you choose to save it to an account, it's recorded to a key only you hold — made with your device's own Face or Touch ID, nothing to install and nothing to remember — and it stays yours on any device. Each scarf's record is public and permanent.

WHAT THE CHAIN IS FOR

There is no token and no wager here, and nothing about ROOOT asks you to buy anything. The chain does three narrow jobs, and they are all about proof.

That the data existed. When a match ends, everything it produced — the market's path, the crowd's calls, what each end felt, who was there — is sealed into one record and its fingerprint is written to Solana within the minute. The record cannot be edited afterwards without the fingerprint failing to match.

That a claim came first. A prediction is only worth something if it was made before the result. Sealing the night's record on a public timeline is what makes "we called it" checkable rather than a story told afterwards.

That the scarf is yours. Collecting is instant and local. If you save it to an account, the cloth becomes a Metaplex Core asset held by a key made on your own device — we pay the network fee, and we cannot take it back. Its picture is the match you actually watched, not a template.

Everything runs on Solana devnet for the hackathon. Nothing has monetary value and nothing is for sale.

WHO MADE IT

Built by one fan and a small team of machines for the TxODDS hackathon, on Solana devnet, with live data from TxODDS. Questions, problems, ideas: github.com/lamentierschweinchen/rooot.
